 Getting notified for everything that happens in your store

CloudCart gives you the assurance of always being aware of all activities on your store. Your customers or any store administrator can automatically receive alerts (email notifications) for specific activities happening in the store.

We offer you different options for managing your Notifications.
1) Go to Settings >> Notifications
2) On the top of the page, choose:

  • Send Notifications To Customers
    If the option is active, your customers will receive emails on all occasions related to customers and described on the page below.
  • Send Notifications To Administrators
    If this option is active, the Administrators (Moderators) of your Store will receive emails on all occasions related to your Store activities and described on the page below.
  • Sent Notifications in HTML
    If this option is active, you are able to create your own design of the emails you send. (e.g. adding the logo of your Store in the sent email)

notif3) To activate an option, click the toggle on the right. To deactivate an option, click the toggle on the left. The changes are automatically edited.

Available automatic notification emails for Customers
With your CloudCart store you immediately get ready-made templates which are automatically sent to Customers in the following cases:

  • Customer Welcome Notification
    When your Customer fills the details for his new account, he receives an automatic Welcome email with a link for confirmation of his registration which is redirecting him to your Store.
  • Customer Confirm Email Notification
    Once a Customer fills his account details to make a new account on your Store, he will receive an automatic email with a link for confirmation of his new account.
  • Customer Email Confirmed Notification
    When a Customer successfully confirms his account, he will be automatically  informed.
  • Password Reset Link Notification
    Creating your Store with CloudCart you are giving your Customers the ability to set their new password by clicking a button Forgot your password? on the checkout. Once they’ve clicked it, they receive an automatic email with a link to reset their password.
  • Customer Password Change
    Once your Customers reset their password, they will receive an automatic email with information about their new account details.
  • Customer Remove Account Request
    Entering their already existing account, your Customer has the option to Remove their account by clicking a button Remove Account. Once they’ve clicked it, they receive an automatic email with a link to confirm the removing of their account.
  • New Order Add Notification
    When Customers place and successfully pay an order, they will be informed that their order is already started processing.
  • Order Files Download Link
    After a successfully paid order, your Customers will receive an email with a confirmation and an optional link for downloading the information about their order.
  • Abandoned Order Restore Link Notification
    When a Customer by any reason is not able to finalize his order, he will be politely informed that he has an unfinished order. In the automatic email, he will also receive a link to quickly continue with his order.
  • Status Change Notification
    When you or your Administrator(s) change an order status, your Customers will be automatically informed by this email. This way they will always know the status of their order.
  • Order Product Remove Notification
    When you or your Administrator(s) remove a product from a Customer’s order, he will receive an automatic mail with the information of the exact product and the exact order.
  • Product Fulfill Notification
    When you send a Customer’s order for shipping, he will receive an automatic email with the information that his products are already in the provider.
  • Order Product Add Notification
    When you or your Administrator(s) add a product to a Customer’s order, he will receive an automatic mail with the information of the exact product and the exact order.
  • Order Placed With COD Payment
  • An automatic email will be sent to the Customer right after he successfully places an order. He will be informed about the content of his order and the payment method he chose.
  • Order Placed With Bankwire Payment
    If a Customer place his order with Bankwire Payment method, he will shortly receive an automatic email with a detailed explanation of the order’s processing and the bank details required for his payment.
  • Order Payment Status Change Notification
    When the status of the payment for Customer’s orders changes, he will receive an automatic email for the exact change and the exact order.
  • Order Payment Error Notification
    If the Customer is having issues with his payment and it can not be finalized successfully due to an error, he will be informed that his order could not be sent for shipping before his payment.
  • Order Payment Add Notification
    If the Customer is having issues with his payment and it is stuck in pending status, he will receive an automatic email with the information that his order is not finished and a link redirecting him your Store to finalize his payment.
  • Customer Message To Customer Service Sent
    When a Customer sends you a question/request through the contact form, he will immediately receive a confirmation email with the information that he successfully reached you.
  • Customer Account Ban Lifted
    If you Ban a Customer, he will receive an information that he might not be able to login his account.
  • Customer Account Banned
    If you Ban a Customer, he will be automatically informed that he will no longer be able to login to his account and in email received he will read the reason that you filled in you Ban reason. You can see how to Ban a Customer here.

 

Available automatic notification emails for Administrators
We will inform you, and other Administrators (Moderators) of your Store at the certain occasions described below:

  • Order Payment Status Change
    An automatic notification email with the exact order and its new payment status will be sent.
  • Order Status Change
    When any order from your Customers changes its status, or any of your Administrators changes it manually, you will receive an automatic notification email with the exact order and its new status.
  • Request from Customer
    When a Customer fills the contact form on your Store, you will receive an automatic notification email with the details about customer’s account and the full text that he wrote you yo request/ask/recommend you.
  • New Customer Register
    When a Customer fills the details for creating an account in you Store, you will be provided by an automatic notification email sent to you with the information for the new Customer.
  • Order Add
    When a Customer places an order, an automatic notification email with the information about the exact order, the products included and the exact customer, will be sent.
  • Customer Newsletter Subscribe
    When a Customer clicks the checkbox to subscribe to Newsletter on your Store, an automatic notification email with information about customer’s details will be sent.
  • Customer Newsletter Unsubscribe
    When a Customer clicks the checkbox to unsubscribe for Newsletter on your Store, an automatic notification email with information about customer’s details will be sent.
  • New Admin Account
    When you are creating an account for your employees/colleagues they will receive an automatic notification email with the user name and the password that you have set for them and they will be also Administrators (Moderators) of your Store.
  • Admin Account Change
    When the Administrator (Moderator) changes his user name or his email address in his account, you will receive an automatic notification email with his new credentials.
  • Admin Account Password Change
    When the Administrator (Moderator) changes his user name or his password for his account, you will receive an automatic notification email with his new credentials.
  • Product out of Stock
    If a certain product is out of stock, you will receive an automatic notification email about the exact product, only if you set the option Track inventory. To set this option, see here.
  • Product Quantity Low Warning
    If a certain product is with low quantity, you will receive an automatic notification email about the exact product, only if you set the option Low count threshold. To set this option, see here.
